Hirudin Product Introduction:
Hirudin Powder is the most significant active constituents, is extracted from leech and its salivary glands, and is a kind of small molecule protein (polypeptide) which comprised of 65-66 Amino Acid.
Function:
1.It is a naturally occurring peptide in the salivary glands of medicinal leeches (Hirudo medicinalis) that has a blood anticoagulant property. 2.Similar to antithrombin III, the anticoagulatant activity of hirudin powder is based on its ability to inhibit the pro-coagulant activity of thrombin.
3.It can prevent or dissolve the formation of clots and thrombi (i.e. it has a thrombolytic activity), and has therapeutic value in blood coagulation disorders, in the treatment of skin hematomas and of superficial varicose veins. Packing&Storage of Package: 25kgs/drum,double plastic-bag inside, aluminum foil bag or fiber drum outside.
Storage: Stored in a clean, cool, dry area; keep away from moisture and strong, direct light/heat.
Shelf Life:Two years when properly stored.
